Penwarne Campsite is conveniently located between The Helford River & the vibrant town of Falmouth, we are in proximity to many tourist attractions in the area. This makes us the perfect choice for camping and caravan holidays in Cornwall.

We offer a peaceful setting on a workin g farm, It's ideal for a laid back holiday with plenty of space for children to run around and is also popular with couples wanting to explore our beaches and with walkers wanting to be based close to the best of the South West Coast Path.

With Cornwall's best attractions surrounding the campsite, such as world-class Trebah Gardens, Falmouth Maritime museum, Cornish Seal Sanctuary, Pendennis Castle, The Tate Gallery, The Eden Project, Flambards Theme Park, St Michael's Mount, Glendurgan Gardens,  The Minnack Theatre, Paradise Park, Kynance Cove and The Lost Gardens of Heligan all being situated within  a 5-45 minute drive away, you really do have the best of Cornwall at your fingertips from our central location.

As we are blessed with a huge site, we nearly always have availability but as we are evolving & becoming ever more popular for our location we can no longer take walk-ins during the summer holidays, so if you are looking for somewhere to get away last minute then please give us a call to see if we still have availability during our peak season.

In the months of July & August it is crucial that you book your stay.

Arrival Times


Camping  check in anytime from 12am until 7pm. If you are planning on arriving after 7pm then you will need to let us know your estimated time of arrival. If you do not see us when arriving you can call us to find out where to pitch.


 All of our spacious pitches have panoramic sea views across Falmouth bay. Pitches can not be reserved, but can be secured by sending a payment - please contact us be email for details.

We are blessed with 8 beaches being less than ten minutes away by car. Here you will discover miles of picturesque coast line and quaint villages with traditional thatched roofed pubs. 

This part of Cornwall is home to an array of wildlife such as seals, dolphins, sea birds, pheasants, bats kestrels and buzzards.

The Helford is abundant with nature and beautiful creeks, including the famous Frenchman’s creek, one made famous by Daphne De Maurier as it was where she wrote of her treasured holiday visits that were inspired by this magical place.

We have a quaint washing up area equipped with a fridge/freezer ... so you can keep food and drinks nice n' chilled! 

All are welcome to use these facilities, please leave them as you wish to find them.

 New Showers & Disabled Facilities 

We have recently refurbished our showers, upgrading the quantity as well as the quality. Please do not waste water, its a valuable resource.

There is now a disabled-friendly toilet and shower.

The cost of a shower is now included in our camping charges,

Children's Play Area

The children's adventure playground will keep the children entertained for hours.

It comprises of swings, a slide, a small climbing frame and a set of monkey bars.

We ask that older children over 12 do not use the swings and allow the younger children to enjoy the facilities, which become very popular in the school holidays. 

Children under the age of 3 are to be supervised at all times.

Farm Café

Our onsite café hut has a 5 star hygiene rating and is open from April- September, there is indoor seating and a seaview decking area at the back.

You can enjoy fresh, tasty & healthy meals for breakfast and lunch. 

We also serve afternoon tea, cakes, ice cream
