Farmhouse Holiday Let by The cornish coast
Our treasured Farmhouse has stunning sea views, a large garden, outdoor seating and a BBQ. Located near the Helford River the 4 bedroom home has 1 king size room with a four poster bed, 1 double bedroom and a room with bunkbeds. There is also a fourth room in the loft space with two single beds which can be made-up, upon request.
We also have a hot-tub and sauna in a converted trailer which can be hired out for a weekly charge, this is cleaned and refilled on a weekly basis and is an optional extra.
Conveniently located between the vibrant maritime town of Falmouth & The Helford River & just 1 mile from the SW Coastal Path, this farmhouse makes an ideal base for those wanting the best of Cornwall at their fingertips.
Penwarne Farmhouse is on the edge of a complex of renovated barn buildings which have been converted to provide accommodation. Set in an elevated position it has fantastic views over the countryside to the sea and Falmouth and Pendennis Castle.
The house is comfortable and well equipped with two 3 seater settees in the lounge & a 40" SMART TV with internet access. There is a well equipped kitchen/diner to the rear of the property. To the front of the property there is a conservatory overlooking a large front garden which has garden furniture and barbecue for alfresco dining.
The granite detail exposed on the bedroom walls is charming and really adds character to this rural escape. There is plenty of parking adjacent to the property.
Located just a away are the sub-tropical gardens of Trebah and Glendurgan which slope down to the foreshore of the Helford River. Falmouth is a short drive away and has plenty to offer with many shops, bars and restaurants not to forget it's fabulous range of beaches at Gyllyngvase, Castle and Swanpool and our favourite Meanporth!
Visit Helford Passage and get refreshed at The Ferryboat Inn or hire a motor boat and explore the river or catch a ferry to the other side. About a mile away are the sub-tropical gardens of Trebah and Glendurgan which slope down to the foreshore of the Helford River.
